Ingredients :
- 300-400g Halal sirloin steak
- 1-2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1-2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
- String or butcher’s twine for tying
Instructions :
- Prepare the Sirloin: If not already, butterfly the sirloin to open it like a book for rolling.
- Season: Rub inside with olive oil, then season with garlic, salt, pepper, rosemary, and thyme.
- Roll and Tie: Roll the sirloin up tightly and tie with string to secure.
- Sear: Brown all sides in a hot skillet, then transfer to the oven.
- Roast: Cook in a preheated oven at 175°C until it reaches your preferred doneness.
- Rest and Serve: Let it rest before slicing and serve, perhaps with a side of your choosing.
