Halal Beef Tacos Dallas Style recipe
Ingredients:

- 800g halal ground beef
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 2 teaspoons cumin
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 8 small corn tortillas
- For the Salsa:

- 2 ripe tomatoes, diced
- 1 small red onion, finely chopped
- 1 jalapeño, deseeded and finely chopped (optional)
- Juice of 1 lime
- A handful of fresh coriander, chopped
- Salt, to taste

- For the Guacamole:

- 2 ripe avocados
- Juice of 1 lime
- Salt, to taste
Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes

Instructions:
- Cook the Beef: Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and cook until soft. Increase the heat to high, add the ground beef, breaking it up with a spoon, and cook until browned. Stir in the chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 5 minutes, then remove from heat.
- Prepare the Salsa: Mix the tomatoes, red onion, jalapeño (if using), lime juice, coriander, and salt in a bowl. Set aside.
- Make the Guacamole: Mash the avocados in another bowl. Stir in the lime juice and salt.
- Warm the Tortillas: Heat the tortillas in a dry pan, microwave, or oven until warm and slightly charred at the edges.
- Assemble the Tacos: Spoon the beef mixture onto the warm tortillas. Top with salsa and a dollop of guacamole. Serve immediately.
